We have chatted about everything from budgets to choosing a travel agent to taking trips close to home, what we haven't talked about is travel updates during the pandemic. Although, a lot of destinations have been making improvements and opening back up borders, not every place is fully opening up. I want everyone to be able to have the resources and the knowledge before travelling!
A lot of countries are open, but no one knows where to look to know restrictions or what is open, or how to stay safe while travelling. That's where I come in to help you know where to look and how to find those resources.
The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) is always a great resource to find out confirmed cases in each state/country, mask requirements, safe travel ideas…etc. Here is the link to the CDC to find that information https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/index.html
Another great resource to find more information are the airlines direct websites. If you are flying (which you can still do, it's not recommended…but you can), you can get on their website and see what their COVID updates are. Here are a couple of links to the most popular airlines:

https://www.southwest.com/coronavirus/
Just like the airlines, you have the same resources for the hotel that you might be choosing to stay at. They will have the same resources on their website of how they are taking on the Coronavirus and how they are choosing to take care of their guests.
This website shows a live map of every country and what their restrictions are in accordance to travelling. This is a great map to reference to check before travelling to make sure you have everything in order before and after.

It is so important, nowadays to ensure that you are double checking your place of destination so there are no surprises when you get there, or when you get home. A lot of business have also updated their websites to reflect their hours or closures during COVID, so make sure to check that out as well before you head there!
Part of hiring a travel agent is I get to do all that work for you! You tell me where you want to go, and I get to check out all of the restrictions, closures, quarantines…etc. My website is always updated with the most current travel restrictions, so be sure to check that out too! Happy Travelling!
